Arif Jubaer

Dr. Arif Jubaer

Founder & CEO

Dr. Arif Jubaer is a serial entrepreneur and founder of Bangladesh Education and Research Institute (BERI). Dr. Jubaer is also the founder of Daily Positive (D+)-a media agency of positive news, Arif Systems-an IT & business consultancy firm and Babatye- an online clothing brand. In the last 15 years, based on his unique experiences both in academic and industry world, Arif has setup business strategies, processes, policies and led product development for large enterprises and mid-to-small size businesses.

Dr. Jubaer completed his PhD at the University of Melbourne in Information and Communication Technology in 2010. Since then Arif has been working as sessional lecturer at various reputed universities in Australia.

Dr. Rifat Sharmin

Director

Dr. Rifat Sharmin is an educator and gynecologist surgeon with extreme passion for woman education. Dr Sharmin is a founding member of a reputed medical center in Chattagram, Bangladesh. Although she is no longer doing births, Dr. Sharmin has delivered over 300 babies.

In addition to her medical practice, she is on the board of numerous not-for-profit organizations in Bangladesh and Australia. Dr. Rifat Sharmin is involved in medical missions donating her time and expertise in clinics and hospitals .

Dr. Sharmin is a research supervisor of many university students at various higher education institutes in Australia and Bangladesh and her main research interest lies in the integration of technology to medical science.

Dr. Hafizul Islam

Director

Dr. Hafizul Islam is an experienced business development manager who has equal footings both in academia and industry. He is a committed professional with 10+ years of experience in market research and analytics, consumer insights, leading and managing projects and consulting engagements, conducting market due diligence, and crafting reports with impact. Dr. Islam completed his Ph.D. in Marketing at the University of Melbourne Business School in 2010.

Before that, he completed his Master’s degree in Information Systems from Texas A&M International University. As part of the specialization, he also completed a Graduate Certificatein Research Commercialization from the University of Melbourne.

Alamgir Mohiuddin is the team lead and manager at BERI and is responsible to lead our daily operational activities, business development, relationship management, and channeling lots of positive energy into our strategies. He has more than 18 years of experience in the field of Education Management, Overseas Study Consultancy, Project Management, IT Education, Micro-credit Operations, and Telecommunication. He is best known for his “get the job done attitude” and he will find solutions for any of your education, IT, and research issues. Alamgir is a Computer Science graduate from the Shahjalal University of Science & Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh.

She is a responsible and experienced professional with a profound sense of communication and strong organizational skills, highly motivated to create productive partnerships.

Sharmin Newaz is the Student Recruitment (Sales) Team Lead with more than five years of experience working alongside the executive team of multiple companies. Sharmin specializes in Student Recruitment and is responsible for leading other employees on using progressive systems for multiple study destinations, mass communication procedures, and student visa processes. She has vast knowledge and experience in the multi-destination student recruitment process and is a trained Visa counselor especially for Australia, Canada, UK, and Malaysia, and successfully converted more than 200 students over years. Sharmin is a certified student recruitment officer from top Australian Providers. Sharmin completed her post-graduation from the University of Development Alternative in 2019 with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Peter is a highly experienced senior leader in education, career and skills development, with that experience spanning Australia, Oceania, Asia, Europe and North America. This has included both the private and public sectors in schools, vocational and higher education, universities and global career management, as well as managing and partnering in his own businesses in China, India and Australia.

Peter was previously the CEO of Swinburne College, a division of Swinburne University; the manager of Careers & Learning for the Navitas Group and spent 12 months as the European Manager for Navitas Professional. He was an early participant in international education with a focus on offshore relationship development and management. He has been an education professional throughout his career. 

His current focus is on the development of transnational education and student mobility. A key interest is to explore and develop programs using digital engagement to expand both reach and access of education and career management development to a large audience, remaining focused on the improvement of graduate outcomes.

Suresh Sood 1

Dr. Suresh spends time on a variety of projects and roles with over two decades of developing innovative curricula with professionals and tertiary institutions including social media marketing, machine learning, natural language processing and marketing technology.

His full-time role as Director of behavioural Big Data with Brain Value Pty Ltd focuses on the impacts of behavioural science on professional work. This includes research and interventions into business intelligence and cognitive biases using eye-tracking, facial expressions, electrocardiogram and brainwaves with augmented reality.

In an advisory role, Suresh serves as the Chief Data Scientist for Simple (marketing and communications) and India’s newest bank Dvara Money serving gig economy workers. He has previously served as the Data Scientist for Chartered Accountants in Australia and New Zealand and continues to work on joint projects with both CA and ACCA. Most recently, he co-authored the Analytics in Finance and Accountancy report.

Kieran is an experienced professional who has engaged in international education and related industries throughout his career. He has proven success in building and developing business across Asia at higher education and college levels. He has direct experience in Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, India and Australia.

Kieran is also the General Manager of Kudos, responsible for their Sydney office as well as leading project management of clients and technology to ensure positive outcomes. Prior to this, Kieran held a succession of roles with Navitas Professional including their National Sales Manager, Head of Careers & Internships, and Victorian State Manager.

His most recent interests include identifying easily implemented AI technology that impacts business and individuals in a measurable and intelligent way.

Alauddin B

Dr. Alauddin Bhuiyan

Dr. Alauddin Bhuiyan is an educator, inventor, computer scientist and with deep life science and medical technology expertise covering the spectrum of life science and med-tech. He has been working in the retinal imaging and image-based disease screening area for more than 15 years.

He was a visiting scholar at Harvard Medical School and was the recipient of prestigious Endeavor Australia Award 2014 and recognized as a distinguished Australian. He has been holding an Associate Professor position at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai since 2019.

Dr. Bhuiyan received his Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr.Bhuiyan is a holder of multiple issued and pending patents. He has multiple high impact publications in the field, and published more than hundred research articles, which have been cited by more than a thousand peer-reviewed publications.
